TI Semiconductor Group will display its newest digital signal processing solutions for wireless communications, including mixed-signal and power management devices.
Texas Instruments will present a pre-conference introductory tutorial workshop on June 29. Herbert Hanselmann, dSPACE GmbH, Germany, and Issa Panahi, Texas Instruments, will discuss "Control Using Digital Signal Processors." This workshop will address practical implementation of control systems using Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) and evaluate the role of DSPs in control system design. The DSP's archi- tecture will be analysed, and it will demonstrate why DSPs are so useful in control system design and implementation. Practical issues will be emphasized, such as how to code fixed-point and floating-point DSPs, numerical considerations and development tools. In addition, TI and four invited partners will present papers discussing "Digital Signal Processors for Real-Time Computer Control Systems" on July 4. The papers are:
At Networld+Interop Tokyo, Texas Instruments will introduce a new ATM chipset that helps manufacturers deliver high-performance connections between legacy LANs and ATM networks.
Texas Instruments will demonstrate a new digital PC camera chipset with NTSC output that features TI's new TC236 advanced charge-coupled device at the Interational Symposium on Optical Science, Engineering and Instrumentation.
