PCMCIA power switches feature optimal performance, lower costTwo new PC Card power-interface switches featuring accelerated performance and lower cost are now available from TI.The new switches provide a PCMCIA integrated power-management solution for interfacing to PC Cards used in applications such as desktop and portable computers, PDAs and any other applications using PC Cards. The devices are backward compatible with the previous generation TPS2201 and TPS2202A PCMCIA power interface switches. Built using TI's LinBiCMOSprocess, these devices allow the distribution of 3.3-V, 5-V and/or 12-V card power to PCMCIA cards.
The TPS2205I and TPS2206I are now available through Texas Instruments and its authorized distributors.
