Texas Instruments will present numerous workshops and demon-strations illustrating TI's high-performance digital signal processing solutions, including the most powerful processors, tools and third-party support in the industry.

Workshops include the DSKplus and TMS320C3x DSK software development toolkits; TMS320C8x software development board and support tools from Wyle, Hyperception, Spectron and Tool Smith. Product demonstrations will include several TI DSP families, including the TMS320C54x, TMS320C8x, TMS320C2xx and TMS320C240. Other demonstrations will include DSP tool kits, mixed-signal devices and wireless and cellular solutions.

On Oct. 10, Greg Delagi, DSP marketing manager for TI, will participate in a EE Times-sponsored DSP panel discussion.

Convergence 1996

"SC Solutions Driving the Integrated Vehicle" is TI's theme at Convergence 1996.

Texas Instruments will showcase its digital signal processors, microcon-trollers based on PRISM technology, Power+ ICs, RF, flash memory, TIRIS transponders and sensor solutions.

Displays and demonstrations will focus on various automotive system applications that use TI solutions. At 10 a.m., Oct. 22, Eugene R. McFarland, vice president of the worldwide automotive segment for TI's Semiconductor Group, and James D. Richardson of Delco Electronics, will serve on the Convergence Enablers and Inhibitors panel. They will discuss "Silicon Integration: Panacea or Problem?"
