First Annual 1394 Developer's Conference

TI at the 1394 Developer's Conference

TI will co-sponsor the First Annual 1394 Developers Conference on July 28-30 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California.

Expect to see a complete update on all aspects of 1394, including technical and tutorial applications/implementations of the specification in consumer electronics, computers, and communications designs and applications. There also will be an "Introduction to "1394" track, including presentations on Legal-Copyright issues, Marketing 1394 to OEMs and users, Compatibility-Interoperability, and how 1394 is 'Connecting the Fun Stuff!'

You will also be able to see many 1394 demos from the leading 1394 developers in the world, including Texas Instruments.

Highlighting the Developer's Conference are the following guest speakers:

  • July 28, Capstone Speech: Carl Stork from Microsoft
  • July 29, Keynote: Rick Doherty, president, Envisioneering, Inc.
  • July 30, Keynote: Joel DiGirolamo, Chairman, VESA Home Network Committee.
