Abstract: Device Bay provides a means of PC expansion and upgrade, but the interface includes as much of a power management requirement as it does interface. The power requirements of Device Bay outline very specific implementation features that include everything from voltage and current levels to di/dt limitations. This review of those specifications will provide attendees with general knowledge of the power needs and limitations of the Host and Device.
