TIR2000 High Speed Infrared Controller
TIR2000 High Speed Infrared Controller The TIR2000 is an infrared (IR) controller that supports the Infrared Data Association (IrDA) standard up to 4Mbps along with ASK and TV infrared standards. The TIR2000 provides an interface between the ISA bus (host system) and an infrared transceiver. It encodes and decodes the information to conform to the appropriate standard, and also converts the data into a format that can be transmitted by the infrared transceiver.
Key Features:
The TIR1000 is an infrared (IR) controller that interfaces directly to a Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART) to receive serial data which it then transfers at a maximum rate of 115.2 Kbps to an IrDA-compatible transceiver. The transceiver then transmits the data to another IrDA compatible system.
Key features:
TSLM1100 IrDA Compliant Transceiver The TSLM1100 is the front end of an IrDA interface. It provides the connection to the physical world, and is compliant with the IrDA physical layer standard. It is a multi-die module which includes a Pin photodiode, a two-path receiver with LED driver and an 870 mm LED. It interfaces directly with an IrDA controller, such as the TIR2000 and TIR1000, and operates at data rates from 2400 bps to 4 Mbps.
TL16PIR552 Dual UART with IrDA and IEEE 1284 The TL16PIR552 is a dual UART (two TL16C550C compatible UARTS) with serial ports that have selectable IrDA and RS-232 inputs and outputs. In addition to dual communication capabilities, the TL16PIR552 provides the user with an IEEE 1284 host side compatible, bidirectional, parallel data port.
