Texas Instruments has updated the popular Mixed-Signal Info-Access™ selection disk. Also included are a full set of SPICE macromodels for TIs operational amplifiers, comparators and building blocks.
For each family, you have the option of searching for the key parameters, in addition to selecting the specific function you need. For products offering multiple operating voltages and/or temperature ranges, you can search for the parameters of interest under the appropriate operating conditions.
Parametric sort capabilities are included that allow you to display immediately, for example, all op amps that offer less than 5 mV of offset, slew rates greater than 10 V/µs and single-supply operation. The disk also allows you to find particular device configurations like single, dual or quad, or preferred packaging or operating temperature ranges.
You'll be able to identify the devices for your application in a fraction of the time it takes to search through data books. The guide works well as a tool in conjunction with the data books to help you quickly select the best part for your design. Or, you can use it to simply browse through the Mixed-Signal products TI offers.
The Macromodels, designed for use with SPICE, allow efficient simulation of complex circuits without having to use transistor level models. You can down load a file containing over 250 level 1 & level 2 models, including the latest new products. The Macromodels on the disk install and operate independently from the electronic selection guide.
The new Mixed-Signal Products Info-Access selection disk is available in 3.5" (1.44M) format. The disk contains both DOS and Windows™ versions of Info-Access. DOS 2.1 or higher and 640 K RAM are required. The Windows version requires Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher.
The disks may be freely copied and passed to your colleagues.
