The SN75LBC775 is a single 5 Volt supply peripheral AppleTalk/LocalTalk transceiver with two drivers and two receivers. The 'LBC775 will operate up to 1Mbps in either a point-to-point or networked environment and provides 4 kV of ESD protection with the Human Body Model. With TI's LinBiCMOS process, the 'LBC775 only requires a maximum of 10 mA of supply current with no load. In order to prevent glitches while the power is off, the outputs of the drivers and receivers will remain in a high impedance state. The separate driver and receiver enable provides additional three-state options. The SN75LBC775 is backward compatible with previous serial standards including RS-232and is characterized for operation from 0° to 70°C in the 20 pin wide body SOIC package.
