The TLV2361 is an operational amplifier and the TLV1391 is a comparator both available in the extremely small SOT-23 package. This makes both devices ideal for applications where weight and board space are crucial.
The TLV2361 is a single, high-performance op amp which can operate
at a supply voltage as low as
1 V, while still maintaining
a wide output voltage swing for signal conditioning in low-voltage
systems. Along with a fast 3 V/µs (typ) slew rate and bandwidth
of 7 MHz (typ), the device has low distortion and low noise for
optimal use in consumer audio applications.
The TLV1391 is a single, differential comparator developed for low-voltage, single supply applications (2 V, min). The device has a typical response time of 0.7 µs. With a supply current of 80 µA, the device is ideal for low-power systems.
Two pin assignments have been developed to allow the designer to easily implement common op amp and comparator configurations. The package for the TLV2361 has the output pin and the negative input pin on the same end of the package. This is optimal for placing the operational amplifier in a negative feedback configuration. The package for the TLV1391 has its output pin on the same end as the positive input pin. This lends itself to giving the comparator positive feedback.
Both devices are packaged in SOT-23. With a maximum package area of 5.6 mm², the SOT-23 can be used in high-density circuits, particularly in hand-held and portable equipment.
