Octal power switches with current limit

Our next generation of Power+Logic™ devices are specifically designed to drive your lighting applications cost effectively. These innovative devices feature a built-in current-limiting capability that limits high in-rush current to your lamps and improves filament life.

Power+ Logic devices are monolithic ICs that integrate eight N-channel enhancement-mode DMOS power transistors and control logic in standard dual-in-line and surface mount packaging. These devices have multiple high- performance switches that can simultaneously drive up to eight loads, such as lamps and LEDs. Each device can replace up to eight discrete MOSFETs, control circuitry, and passive components.

Power+ Logic devices are designed for lighting applications and are pin-for-pin compatible with the first phase of Power+ Logic. They are low power consumption replacements plus control logic for the ULN200x series of devices.

In addition to arrays of lamps and LEDs, these new Power+ Logic devices are well-suited for other power switching applications, including motors, solenoids, valves, and relays. Specific end equipments that can benefit from these devices are:
