Audio Power Amplifiers
Audio power amplifiers (APAs) are a special type of operational amplifier, optimized to drive low impedance loads, typically speakers and headphones, at frequencies from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Depending on the device, these amplifiers can provide a few hundred milliwatts to several watts of output power at a given supply voltage. APAs offer very low distortion for increased fidelity in music or speech, and good power supply rejection when operating in noisy environments.

Storage Products Group
Texas Instruments combines IEEE-1394 leadership with its mass storage manufacturing and design expertise to provide optimum 1394 solutions for hard disk drive and removable storage applications. The Storage Products Group of Texas Instruments, through the efforts of its wholly owned subsidiaries, Silicon Systems and Intersect Technologies Inc., is developing embedded technology blocks for ease of integration in drive controllers. Current offerings include IEEE-1394 Native Bridge solutions that can be used in Device Bay and standard EIDE to IEEE-1394 applications.
