The MASM Toolset, demonstration version 4.7.  This self-extracting zip file 
contains the masm assembler, the ld linker, the hex S-record formatter, the 
nm name list utility, the strip utility, the i2m IASM to MASM converter, and 
a condensed manual in the file manual.txt.  This is a full-featured version 
of MASM, although it is limited in the number of symbols available.  The 
latest production version of MASM may be obtained from any of the sales 
offices listed in manual.txt.



The coff2cds utility alters a COFF file produced by MASM so that it may be 
downloaded by the CDS805.  Ths COFF file should be fully linked prior to running coff2cds.  The coff2cds utility should only be applied to COFF files which are to be used by the CDS805.  The coff2cds utility is Engineering Sample Software (ES) and is not for production, indicating the Motorola believes that it is reliable, but it has not passed Motorola's stringent quality assurance.
