Norinco continues to dominate as the most common make of handgun being licenced at present. From 1 January to mid November 1999, the following numbers of the leading makes were CZ: 12 469; Lorcin: 10 952; registered on the system at the CFR: Norinco: 41 574; Vektor: 6 123 and Astra: 3 416.
