firearm most frequently stolen (60.3%), followed
by revolvers (28.2%). The table below

- Most cases of firearm
theft (44.6%) occurred at private
dwellings. Of the 237 cases that
occurred at private dwellings, 209 cases
occurred at the complainants own residences,
18 cases at friends residences, 9
cases at family members homes and 1
case at another private residence. The
most likely days for firearms to be
stolen from private residences were
Fridays (14.3%), followed by Sundays
(10.9%), Saturdays (10.5%) and Mondays
(9.3%).
