Apple IIe Clamp Documentation

cover thumbnail

The Apple IIe used a different clamping mechanism of expansion card cables from earlier models and this eight page booklet explained how to use it. The hexagonal wrench supplied by Apple for the purpose is pretty ineffectual if you regularly swap cards and you should try to get hold of a (size?) nut driver to ease the fitting of boards and cables to your Apple II.

Compare the quality of writing and illustration with the documentation supplied with any of your recent hardware purchases.
