Yes, in 1991 you really could buy a IIe with 128KB RAM, 5.25" drive and monitor for $349 (plus carriage) from Sun Remarketing. They still supply spares for Apple IIs and IIIs although some of their prices don't seem to have changed over the last ten years. |
