1394 Serial Bus Evaluation Module Kits

Texas Instruments offers the industry's first broad range of affordably priced 1394 Evaluation Module (EVM) Kits. Designers at computer and consumer electronics companies can now use these EVMs to develop new products which incorporate the 1394 technology.

As the first company to offer 1394 silicon, TI continues in its leadership role of providing 1394 solutions by offering these EVMs. TIs 1394 EVMs now include both a feature rich and value version of the PCILynx™ and 200Mbps PHY board, a backplane board, and a peripheral board for easy prototyping.

Evaluation Modules

Each kit contains one EVM board, one 1394 cable, software and programmers guide, databooks, setup instructions/schematics, PC internal power cable (PCILynx™ kits only), and information about the 1394 Trade Association.
