The TSBKPCITST Designer Kit uses TI's TSB12LV21A (PCILynx™) link layer controller and TSB21LV03A physical layer device to create an advanced test and development platform for 1394 to PCI bus adapter card development.

The TSB12LV21A enables direct connection between the PCI bus the 1394 high-speed serial bus. Three 6-pin 1394 connectors provide data and up to 12V DC power to the 1394 bus.

There is also an auxiliary bus implementation with local SRAM interface for improved speed and zoom video connectors for real-time video applications.

LynxSoft™ Software

LynxSoft software drivers for Windows®95™ are provided. The drivers are a complete 1394 solution containing bus management and transaction layer functions. The solution includes an application programmer's interface and programmers user's guide.
