The TSBKOHCI403 Designer Kit uses TI's TSB12LV22 (OHCI-Lynx2™) link layer controller and TSB41LV03 physical layer device to create the industry's first p1394a compliant host adapter to provide a platform for 1394 to PCI bus adapter card development. The TSB12LV22 provides direct connectivity between the PCI bus and the 1394 high speed serial bus and is fully compliant with the Open Host Controller Interface. The TSB41LV03 provides 400Mbps capability with three 6-pin 1394 connectors to provide data and up to 12V DC power to the 1394 bus.

Software

The TSBKOHCI403 Designer Kit does not include any software from Texas Instruments. Microsoft Windows™ 98 provides a fully compatible driver for use with this kit.
