1394 Trade Association

The 1394 Trade Association promotes the proliferation of the 1394 serial bus technology in the computer, consumer ,peripheral and industrial markets to enable a universal I/O and backplane interconnect. More than 50 companies participated in the development of the proposed standard including Adaptec, Apple, IBM, Lexmark, Microsoft, Seagate, Sony, Texas Instruments, Toshiba, and Western Digital.
