TI Demonstrates the Industry's Only Third Party Plug-In ToolsThe following third-party plug-in tools integrate with Texas Instruments' open Application Program Interfaces (APIs) that are available in Code Composer Studio. These plug-ins extend the current environment for customers to develop more robust DSP applications faster and easier than ever before. The following plug-ins were demonstrated at DSP World Fall trade show in Toronto. Blue Wave Systems, Incorporated Blue Wave demonstrates a system configuration tool plug-in which allows developers to more easily load applications onto the non-volatile random access memory (NVRAM) located on the company's TMS320C6000 board. They will also demonstrate a diagnostic test utility to verify if the board is operational. DNA Enterprises, Incorporated DNA demonstrates a real-time analysis enabled Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) sender and receiver running on the 'C62x Evaluation Module (EVM). There are two plug-ins: a DTMF keypad for sending DTMF digits, and a bar graph window that will display the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) results from the DTMF receiver, as well as the detected digit. Hunt Engineering Hunt demonstrates a TMS320-based multiprocessor DSP application loader and DSP network server. Hyperception, Incorporated Hyperception demonstrates its graphical compiler plug-in, which turns a block diagram directly into DSP object code. They will also show their DSP application development tool, optimized for the design, implementation, and analysis of real-time DSP algorithms and systems. Pentek, Incorporated Pentek demonstrates a plug-in utility which configures and controls features on their TMS320C6000-based board. Spectrum Signal Processing Spectrum also demonstrates a plug-in to configure, control and test their TMS320C6000-based boards. The MathWorks, Inc. MathWorks demonstrates direct control of a DSP program running on the TMS320C67x simulator from MATLAB® as well as the acquisition and visualization of signals from that program. Code Composer Studio currently has more than 20 supporting third parties: 3L Limited; Communication Automation Corporation; Dialogic Corporation; DNA Enterprises, Incorporated; DSP Research, Incorporated; DSP Software Engineering, Incorporated; HotHaus Technologies, Incorporated; Hyperception, Incorporated; Innovative Integration; Pentek, Incorporated; Radisys Corporation; Signalogic, Incorporated; Spectrum Digital, Incorporated; Spectrum Signal Processing, Incorporated; The MathWorks, Inc.; White Mountain DSP; Precise Software Technologies, Incorporated; Blue Wave Systems, Incorporated; D2 Technologies, Incorporated; Traquair Data Systems, Incorporated; and Hunt Engineering. # # #
