in small packages

PicoGate Logic from Texas Instruments brings good news in ultra-small packages. These innovative, single-gate ICs provide a single bit of logic in a 5-pin package that is well-suited for solving the tiny logic difficulties that can cause big problems. They are ideal for making quick fixes to ASICs, simplifying board routing, adding last-minute design modifications and squeezing logic into tight design spaces.

PicoGate Logic is alternate-sourced by Philips Semiconductor, and the 5-pin, SOT323 (DCK) package used is TI's smallest packaging option. TI also offers single-gate logic in a slightly larger Microgate Logic (DBV) package option.

Devices are available now in the AHC and AHCT (Advanced High-Speed CMOS) logic families and the CBT Bus Switch family. They are planned for the LVC (Low-Voltage CMOS) family, ALVC (Advanced Low-Voltage CMOS) family and the CBTLV Low-Voltage Bus Switch family.
