[Package Information]
Known bugs in devices of the MSP430 family or other informations concerning them, are collected in the succeeding table.
The informations about these bugs are located in the column 'Comment'.
The column 'Ref-#' allows the user of these tables to find specific bugs in a certain module more easily:
For instance, bugs related to a problem with the Oscillator will be referenced by the letter 'O' in the column 'Ref-#'.
The concerned devices are identified by a code of seven alphanumeric letters (The Lot Trace Code), printed on top of the package.
The first two alphanumeric characters of this code can be used to track down the existing bugs in that device:
The first is a number (Indicating the last digit of the production's year), and the second uses the hexadecimal numbers from 0 to C (Indicating the production's month: 1 = January; C = December).
The identification codes are counted up in the sequence:
60 ... 6C , 70 ... 7C , 80 ... 8C, etc... for instance.
In this "Bug List" page, you will find this identification code in the columns 'Code from' and 'Code to', which are relative to the evolution of the device.
The figure '>>' in the field 'Code to' is for ongoing situation.
As an example, please have a look at the following table:
| Ref-# |
