Product Overview Texas Instruments' TVP4020 PERMEDIA 2 3D graphics processors bring the visual realism previously found only in high-end workstations to a variety of consumer and commercial applications. These applications include everything from 3D acceleration for PC games to CAD/CAM applications. The TVP4020 is TI's second generation graphics controller to incorporate PERMEDIA graphics technology from 3Dlabs®. The jointly-designed TVP4020 combines the strengths of 3Dlabs and TI to produce leading-edge performance at an affordable price. The TVP4020 provides OpenGL acceleration for CAD/CAM applications and for PC games like id Software's GLQuake™ and others.
