TI will demonstrate its new PCI2030 PCI-to-PCI bridge controller, one of TI's industry-leading CardBus solutions for tomorrow's PC applications. In addtion, TI will spotlight the PCI1250, the industry's fastest PCI-to-PC Card Bus controller. Tony Wutka, PCI product champion, will present ÒDesigning CardBus into Portable Systems. Texas Instruments will demonstrate its latest line of TMS320 DSP and mixed-signal products at DSP World. Highlighted will be the newest generation of DSPs, the TMS320C6x. In TI's Third-Party Village, third-parties will exhibit hardware and software products supporting the TMS320 family. WinHEC '97
At WinHEC '97, TI will demonstrate Digital Signal Processing Solutions that are both innovative and time-saving for PC applications. TI's DSP Solutions enable innovative applications using PCI, 3D graphics, x2 modem technology, 1394 High Speed Serial Bus and Universal Serial Bus. TI also will give numerous technical presentations, including: "Power Managing PCI Devices" by Dave Dickens, Systems Engineering Manager, and "The Box with No Boundries -- The PC Paradigm Shift Enabled by USB and 1394" by Paul Thomas, strategic marketing manager for new business opportunities.
