TSB11C01
Product DescriptionThe TSB11C01 is a 5V, three port cable transceiver/arbiter that supports cable data transfer rates of 100 Mbps. It performs system initialization and arbitration functions, as specified by the IEEE-1394-1995 High Performance Serial Bus Standard. The TSB11C01 is designed to interface with a link layer controller (LLC), such as the TSB12C01A. The data interface to the LLC is provided through two parallel lines operating at 50 Mbps, and all LLC interface lines support IEEE Annex J optional electrical isolation.
Target Applications
The TSB11C01 provides a way to add 1394 connections to any high speed digital device requiring three 1394 cable ports. Evaluation Module (EVM) kits are available from TI that can be used as a starting point for peripheral design.
