By combing video-in using the TVP5010 and video-out using the TVP6000, a high-performance all-in-one graphics board can be easily assembled.

This enables applications such as:

• Viewing video on a PC monitor
• Displaying PC graphics on a TV
• Video conferencing
• Texture mapped games overlaid onto video background

The TVP5010 and TVP6000 video performance valuation module allows the user to evaluate the performance of each device separately by using the ITU-R-656 digital video ports. The user may also evaluate both devices in tandem.

The evaluation module interfaces to a PC over an RS-232 serial port. The module includes an RS-232 to I²C controller and Windows95 application software that permits access to the TVP5010 and TVP6000 I²C registers.

Additional features include an extended VMI connector and analog RGB outputs.
