'97 TI DSP Solutions Challenge entry deadline extended

The deadline for TI's U.S. $100,000 1997 DSP Solutions Challenge design competition has been extended. Entry forms and the project abstract now are due July 31, 1997. Final projects are due October 31, 1997. This worldwide, project-based competition required an original, functional TMS320 Digital Signal Processing (DSP) design and software program (if applicable) to be submitted to TI. The '97 contest is open to full-time university students at the undergraduate, graduate or Ph.D. level.

Grand prize is U.S. $100,000 with finalist prize and semi-final prizes awarded at U.S. $10,000 and U.S. $1,000 respectively. The advising professor of the grand prize winning team also receives U.S. $15,000 and a six-month sabbatical with TI DSP.
