What we do with this technology?
At Texas Instruments, we
use the Evaluation Kit on a regular basis,
exploring the capabilities of TI's integrated
Surface Plasmon Resonance sensor technology it is
based upon. The sensor has been demonstrated to
measure properties such as refractive index
changes, avidin-biotin binding, antibody-antigen
dissociation kinetics, thickness of insulators,
refractive index of thin dielectrics, specific
detection of small molecules, protein binding,
concentrations of analytes, attachment of DNA
complements, and mixture proportions.
The broad applicability of this technology,
coupled with the inherent manufacturability of
the sensor, enables the innovation of a wide
range of exciting applications and opportunities,
