TI’s powerful TMS320C6000 generation is the core architecture that provides the incredible throughput of TI’s TNETD2000P PCI client-side ADSL chipset. Using the chipset, home users and small office/home office (SOHO) users can achieve up to 100 times the performance of today’s fastest analog modems all over existing copper telephone wires. The ’C6000 generation’s leapfrog 1600-MIPS performance is crucial for the demanding real-time ADSL environment. At the same time, the fully programmable architecture facilitates quick and easy software upgrades, code updates and future standard implementation such as the upcoming G.Lite splitterless ADSL standard.
