DSPS Fest '97

Learn and share the latest in digital signal processing research, applications and products at TI's seventh annual DSP Solutions Fest '97 (TMS320 Educators & Third-Party Conference). For DSP university professors and educators, DSPS Fest provides the opportunity to present research, learn about TI and TI-based DSP products and learn new ways to teach DSP technology to the emerging engineering community.

For third-parties, DSPS Fest offers the opportunity to present products, learn about TI DSP products and build relationships with TI field and factory personnel.

Highlights of the conference include:

  • DSP Teaching Kit Workshop
  • "DSPS and the Marketplace," by Mike Hames, Vice President Semiconductor Group, Worldwide DSP Manager
  • "The Future of DSP," by Gene A. Frantz, TI Fellow, DSP Business Development
  • DSP product demonstrations, roadmaps and strategy presentations
  • Tool demonstrations
  • Mini- and full-day workshops about TMS320C6x, 'C54x and other TI DSPs

The "Application Symposiums" will provide in-depth discussions on the latest DSP application developments in the industry, including wireless communications, XDSL, digital motor control and visual communications. TIers from TI's research and development department will lead this new presentation.

TI engineers will provide insight into our DSP technology, applications and other new developments.

Third-party solutions providers will demonstrate their products to TIers and participate in the conference.
