The MC68HC08KH12 is a member of the low-cost, high-performance M68HC08 Family of 8-bit microcontroller units (MCUs). All MCUs in the family use the enhanced M68HC08 central processor unit (CPU08) and are available with a variety of modules, memory sizes and types, and package types.

  • High-Performance M68HC08 Architecture
  • Fully Upward-Compatible Object Code with M6805, M146805, and M68HC05 Families
  • 6-MHz internal bus frequency
  • 12 K bytes of on-chip ROM memory
  • 384 bytes of on-chip random-access memory (RAM)
  • Up to 42 general-purpose input/output (I/O) pins,29 with Software Configurable Pullups
  • 16-Bit, 2-Channel Timer Interface Module (TIM)
  • Full Universal Serial Bus Specification 1.1 low-speed functions:
    • 1X12MHz Upstream Port
    • 4X12MHz/1.5 Mbps Downstream Ports
    • On-chip 3.3 V regulator
    • 1X Hub Interrupt Endpoint (Endpoint 0) with 8-byte transmit buffer and 8-byte receive buffer
    • 1X Hub Interrupt Endpoint (Endpoint 1) with 1-byte transmit buffer
    • 1X Device Control Endpoint (Endpoint 0) with 8-byte transmit buffer and 8-byte receive buffer
    • Endpoint 2 with 8-byte transmit buffer and 8-byte receive buffer
  • System protection features:
    • Optional computer operating property (COP) reset
    • Illegal opcide detection with Optional reset
    • Illegal address detection with Optional reset
  • Master reset pin with internal pull-up and power-on reset
  • External asynchronous interrupts pin with internal pull-up
  • 64-pin quad flat pack (QFP)
