2.5-V voltage supervisor
The TLC7725 is the industry's first supply voltage supervisor available for 2.5-V systems. It consumes 16uA of supply current and gives designers precision control of their 2.5-V supply lines for low-voltage digital signal processors (DSPs) and microprocessors.
The use of totem-pole outputs eliminates external pull-up and pull-down resistors, reducing component count, board space and stocking costs of the resistors. Along with battery-saving micropower operation, the TLC7725 adds the static memory backup function to the supervisor. These device features are beneficial in laptops, cellular phones and other battery-operated systems designed to use the newer 2.5-V digital functions.
The TLC7725 is the latest member in TI's expanding family of LinBICMOS supply voltage supervisors.
