MOSFET drivers

New members of TI's TPS28xx family of MOSFET drivers combine a low quiescent current of only 5 uA with SOT-23 packages for minimal space requirements. The TPS2828 and TPS2829 single-channel MOSFET drivers are designed for use in switching power supplies in applications such as motor drivers, DC-DC switching converters and automobiles.

Supplying up to 2 A of peak current while driving highly capacitive loads, the devices consume supply currents 100 times lower than other devices available. The TPS2828 is an inverting driver, while the TPS2829 is non-inverting.

TPS2828/29 features

  • 20 ns Max. rise/fall time with 30 ns Max. propagation delay
  • 2A peak output current
  • 5 uA Supply current
  • On-board linear regulator
TPS2828 5-pin SOT23 $0.45
TPS2829 5-pin SOT23 $0.45

Suggested resale pricing in U.S. dollars in 1K quantity.
