RF Products for GSM
Originally deployed in Europe, Global Systems Mobile or GSM is used
by more subscribers than any other standard world-wide. GSM is based
on Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and employs a Gaussian Filtered
Minimum Shift Keying (GMSK) modulation scheme. In addition to the 900
MHz GSM system, an upbanded version exists at 1800 MHz. This upbanded
version of GSM is known as DCS-1800.
In addition, a PCS version of the GSM air interface standard has been implemented in North America. This GSM version of PCS is known as PCS-1900.
