Power distribution switch

The TPS2205/06 dual-slot PC Card power distribution switch now comes in a low-cost, high-power thin shrink small outline package (TSSOP) and with shorter lead-times.

The switch performs the interface between the host controller and two cards through a parallel or serial interface. It has fewer glue components and better reliability. The device makes design easier to accomplish, regardless of a designer's controller preferences. It also eliminates the need to use unreliable fuses, which can be expensive to replace in power distribution circuitry.

The TPS2205/06 is suited for notebook and desktop computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), digital cameras, telecommunication systems (phones and PBXs), bar code scanners and instrumentation applications.

TPS2205 30-pin SSOP $3.61
32-pin TSSOP $3.67
TPS2206 30-pin SSOP $3.87
32-pin TSSOP $3.91

Suggested resale pricing in U.S. dollars in 1K quantity.
