'Tool Up' program allows designers to step up to next level of development

Designers using digital signal processors know the importance of development tools. Tools allow designers to more easily move through the design process to quickly bring a product to market.

Marshall, an authorized distributor for Texas Instruments, is offering a special program allowing designers to protect their investment in DSP tools.

When designers purchase a TI or authorized third-party development tool from Marshall, they are automatically registered for the Marshall "Tool Up" program. When they are ready to move to the next step in development, the initial investment will be applied to the purchase of the next level of tool.

Texas Instruments has the broadest and easiest-to-use range of DSP development tools. TI tools are available for every product family. Available tools include debuggers, emulators, assembler/linkers, evaluation boards and simulators.

A complete list of available tools is available at Marshall's web site.

More than 100 tools are eligible for Marshall's "Tool Up" program. Tools are available for all of TI's DSP product line:
  • TMS320C1x
  • TMS320C2x
